Painting - Acrylic On Paper
Description
I love making abstract paintings. I also love photography. I find it exciting to combine these two art forms by tracing a photo over an abstract painting. Finding the right photo to match to the right abstract -- it's all part of the process of making a special image.
When our daughter was 1 1/2, she took her first sled rides, sitting in front of her daddy as they raced down the hill. She loved it! "Again, again!"

Love the way you combine your photos with painting. Digital art has opened up so many new ways to express your creativity.
Lori Kingston replied:
Thanks for the compliment. :) I should point out, though, that my silhouette pictures are not digital art. I print out a photo at the right size for the background painting, and the rest of the work is done by hand, cutting out the image, tracing it onto the background, and then painting out the rest of the background. Once again, thank you for your comment and support. :)

Originally from Syracuse, I remember doing this as a little girl. Wonderful blend of art and photography, Lori. It feels like cold. f/l
