Just beside the bridge where Rt. 77 crosses the Coosa River, from Rainbow City into Southside, Alabama, there are several small houses on stilts, connected by wooden walkways. In December 2013 my father drove me down there to get a shot of the sunset with those buildings silhouetted in the foreground. "I've been wanting to do this for a long time," he told me. "I'm living vicariously through you right now."
Sometimes a room just needs a strong, black and white image. This one is available in color, but the silhouettes really pop in the monochrome!
