Mixed Media - Acrylic And Pen On Paper
Description
I made this as an ATC (Artist Trading Card) by scraping acrylic paint across a sheet of paper, then using a black extra-fine point sharpie to draw in the details of the image I saw -- a man sitting in the snow in the foreground, another further away huddled under a blanket warming his hands over a fire in a barrel -- they both are waiting for morning and warmth. In the distance, oblivious to the cold, stands a well-dressed couple, perhaps waiting for their car to be brought around by the valet. We wait for different things, depending on our circumstances in life.
