Because I'm Diabetic Wall Art

I am a diabetic, and until recently depended on daily injections of insulin and Victoza to keep my blood sugar under control. (Weight loss surgery resulted in me no longer needing those, thank goodness!) The insulin and Victoza comes in pens to which a disposable needle can be attached, and then the correct dosage can be dialed in on the side of the pen before injecting. The pen needles come in individual plastic cases, each covered with a little circle of foil. All of these things, including the lids for the pens, have become "art supplies" for me in one way or another -- most often being photographed and turned into kaleidoscopes.
