Day Two of the Hallowe'en Challenge, and I'm making pictures with flower petals again! I wasn't sure I had enough orange petals to do this, but I poked around and found some more tucked away. And I decided against a scary face, although the condition of poor Jack's teeth would make any dentist shudder!
Almost all the petals used in this image are from tinted poms in orange, green, and yellowish brown, but I did also use some dark red zinnia petals for some of the lines, and the eyes are made with little chrysanthemum pompons. The only digital adjustment made, other than brightening the photo, was giving the jack o'lantern a black mouth -- I didn't come up with a really good idea for a petal treatment of the mouth.
