Artist's Description
"Let the Baby-Cuts go, Citron!" the young celery officer pleaded with the angry goblin. He could never live with himself if the little carrots got hurt.
"Back off, man! I'm not going back to jail!" Citron shouted.
The crowd of celery sticks behind the officer gasped, and the officer knew he was running out of time. Where was his back-up? he wondered. They should be here by now. Did he dare try to charge past the goblin's fingers to rescue the baby-cuts?
Once again, my countertop is the stage for drama, as citron and celery face off. Will brave Officer Stick save the baby-cuts?
My Buddha's Hand citron is starting to go bad, so if I'm going to cut it up and try to do something actually food-oriented with it, as opposed to telling stories, I guess I'm going to have to get busy.
