Artist's Description
When I showed this drawing to a friend, she said it looked like Spring, Autumn, and Winter, "but no Summer!" Yeah, I'll buy that!
This style of drawing is called a Zendala, a mandala decorated with Zentangle designs. Erin Koetz Olson provided templates for about 100 Zendalas, and gave permission for artists to sell the finished products, with credit given to her for the template.
Zentangles are sometimes called focused or mindful doodling. The patterns are simple and repetitive, but require attention reproduce them over and over.
