Description
This morning I was continuing to work on learning a new image editing app called GIMP, and I felt that the photo I was working with had little too much going on to understand how a particular function worked, so I opened a blank file, put in a yellow to red gradient, drew in some rough very dark brown and very light orange lines, and began working with those. At first I considered that "drawing" to be pretty bad -- never show this to ANYONE! But the more that I worked with it, the more I decided that I liked the gradient of colors and roughness of those lines. And I really loved how the fractal trace effect was twisting and pulling everything around. By the time I was done, I was ready to show my results to EVERYONE! And edit the colors to different ones so I can show it off even more. :) You'll find this same design available in the original yellow/orange/red, as well as in green and chartreuse, and in shades of blue. I hope you love it as much as I do.
