Description
Usually I don't upload the version of a piece that is 5000 pixels square until I get to the duvet cover, because I like the original piece on its own. And I do like the original design, but when I did this 9x grid, it appealed to me, and I began playing with the colors, and I ended up with a piece that I like even better than my original. The shape reminds me a little of a turkey or a peacock, with its tail feathers all spread out on display, but in reality it's a manipulated photo of bobby pins, and I allowed the center image to be splattered in the last color change, which is how I came up with the title.
