Description
Looking at this piece of digital art, I think I see a woman, impossibly tall and thin, decked out in a long yellow and pink dress with a blue waistband, and a feathered headdress up to THERE! Her arms are upraised and outstretched in a "look at me!" pose, that somehow I associate with Broadway stars of a bygone era. I just haven't figured out what the rest of the blue is...
What do you see? Please tell me in the comments -- I love hearing what people see in my art! :)
As with my piece "Wobbly," this image was made by placing a water bottle on a red plate (which I later turned hot pink) and putting something behind the bottle -- in this case, I put a blue soda can behind the bottle -- to photograph through the ridges of the bottle. Then I duplicated, mirrored and flipped the photograph to make the image you see here.
PLEASE NOTE: The FAA watermark will not appear on your purchased image.

Wonderful work, Lori! I associate this work with the carnival in Rio: bright, sparkling, full of music and joy.

Thank you so much, Alex! Yes, the big headdresses people wear at Carnaval might resemble this. 🙂
