Description
Oh, this one was fun! I took my image "Getting Sucked In," or rather, the petal that I made to begin with because I didn't want this one to have that pinched in center, and I used a contour effect to make it crazy vivid and colorful, keeping the basic shape and completely distorting the internal area -- can you still see a bin full of Zevia cans ready to recycle? That's what I started with. You can see the original image in my portfolio under the title "Cans to Recycle," and the basic petal shape is titled "Cans to Recycle Going Down the Drain."
Once I had the basic shape and contours set, I went over to GIMP to play with the colors. (Paint Shop Pro is great for a lot of things, but GIMP has more options for changing the colors.) I used the lighter version behind the original, and added a drop shadow to give the whole thing some depth.

I'm not usually into these types of digital art, but this one is so appealing - I love the almost stained-glass look! nice job, Lori!
